How to find promo codes for use at online stores, and printable coupons to use at grocery stores and supermarkets
The Canadian coupon market is continuing to grow on a daily basis, with more and more online stores starting to offer coupon codes for an instant discount, and supermarkets accepting printable coupons or internet vouchers too. By using these promotional methods from the companies and brands themselves, you can literally save thousands of dollars a year on your regular purchases. You can find coupon codes or printable coupons in many locations, and this article aims to give you a few tips on where to look.
1. Go to the websites of your favourite household brands. Sometimes they offer a free printable coupon on their home page, so have a scan for a discount there. On many, you need to subscribe to the email newsletters for that particular brand. Do so, and it is recommended that you use a disposable email address for this, as you may get quite a wealth of promotional emails from them.
This method works particularly well for the big name brands which offer household products, cleaning products, personal hygiene products, health items. For example, there are always various manufacturer coupons on Livingwell.ca for discounts on items like Tylenol, Listerine, Reactine and more.
2. Find the social media pages of your favourite brands. Many companies are very active on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or even a combination of the three. On their social media feeds, companies often offer printable coupons, deals and discounts, so it’s definitely worth following them there. Many of the Canadian printable coupons and offers could only last for a matter of hours or until a certain number of coupon redemptions is met, so you have to be fast with these methods. For example, if you want to buy something from online optical store Clearlycontacts.ca, don’t forget to check out their Twitter feed first. They publish many discount offers on their Twitter feed, and they are only valid for about 24 hours.
