The cold weather is fast approaching, and the days of sandals and flip flops are soon to be over. While it may seem depressing now, when you see the boots for Fall 2010, you’ll be itching for the new season to begin.
Here are five 2010 fall boot trends to help you stay in style. These boots are sure to lift your cool weather spirits. So, check them out! Once you see them you’ll be throwing off those worn-out flip flops!
Utility
This Fall, boots are looking tough. Military and utility styles are taking the runways by storm. Pair these with feminine accessories to give your outfit some contrast. Or, pair these boots with matching utility style accessories to make a strong statement.
Olivia, $350 USD, 7 for all Mankind (see our 7 for all Mankind coupons).
Lacing
This is a huge trend for fall fashion boots. The lacing trend is everywhere you look…and it’s not even Fall yet! Personally, this one isn’t my favourite. It reminds me of the boots my mom used to wear (sorry, mom). But, the stylists, magazines and bloggers seem to be loving it. What do you think? Would you wear this trend?
Belle by Sigerson Morrison, $350 USD, Saks Fifth Avenue (see our Saks Fifth Avenue Canada coupons).
Cowboy
These boots are great fall fashion statements. As an added bonus, they can be fabulous summer footwear. Pair these with a flirty summer dress while it’s still hot. Then pull em’ over your favourite pair of skinny jeans as the weather cools down.
Don Post Boots Mignon, $158.95 USD, Shoebuy (see our Shoebuy coupons).
Over the Knee
This trend requires confidence to pull off. But, when it works – boy, does it work! This sexy style can be toned down by wearing a pair of matching tights underneath. Or, if you dare, pair them with an above the knee skirt.
Moss Leather Thigh High Boots, $298 USD, bebe (see our bebe Canada coupons).
Lady Like and Lacey
Lace is another trend that’s all over the runways. But unlike the lacing trend, as seen above, this is a look that I can actually get behind. When done right, lace boots can look polished and pretty – with a little added sex appeal.
House of Harlow 1960, $275 USD, Saks Fifth Avenue (See our Saks Fifth Avenue Canada coupons).
